Inaugurated a Digital Exhibition “India @ 70: The Jammu & Kashmir Saga”

On the occasion of 70 years of Accession of Jammu & Kashmir to India, Inaugurated an Interactive Digital Exhibition” “INDIA @ 70: THE JAMMU & KASHMIR SAGA” beautifully curated by National Archives of India.

On the display are rare vintage photographs, original letters, telegrams, documentaries maps, soldiers’ maps, newspapers reports, large number of books on Kashmir that depict history at its most dramatic yet humbling moments.

J&K is an integral part of India and how this integration was brought about has been wonderfully depicted portraying historical narrative of Kashmir Conflict, Sensitizing younger generation & creating awareness about the Heroism, Valour & Sacrifice of our Armed forces & Civilians

Jammu & Kashmir’s accession to India was the will of the people of the state. When Maharaja Hari Singh signed the instrument of accession, only after that the Indian forces went to that area which has been rightly showcased by this exhibition through the pictures.
